The final open stakeholder event of the foRMAtion project will take place on 30 November 2022, 9:00 – 15:00 in Brussels (Venue: Regione Lazio, Rond-Point Schuman 14 – 1040), hosted by the Liaison Office of APRE, the Italian Agency for the Promotion of European Research.
We look forward to welcome higher education executives and managers, policy-makers, research managers and administrators, experts and further interested parties to join us in the discussion about the professionalisation of Research Management and Administration (RMA) across Europe. We will examine the European policy context as well as the innovative educational and mentorship tools elaborated and tested within the foRMAtion project to serve the professional development of HE students and the overall RMA community.
Our curriculum and teaching methodology, the mentorship programme and the online self-development tools have been designed to bridge the gap between universities and current labour market needs of research performing organisations. Summing up the experiences of 3 years of intensive joint work, we will present our “Guide & impact assessment for educating and training RMAs at HEIs backed by policy recommendations”.
As the continuation of the project, two Alliances has been set-up aiming to boost the further operation and uptake of our outputs. (Read more on how to join these initiatives here). For those interested in joining the foRMAtion Module and Mentorship alliances, two free mini-trainings will be offered, as side-events:
- one for HEI teachers and educators about the use of the foRMAtion Modules (29 November afternoon)
- and another one for representatives of research performing organisations on foRMAtion’s Mentorship programme (30 November afternoon).
The number of participants to these sessions is limited. Places will be attributed on a first come first served basis.
