New Senior Scientific Officer for the LEO Foundation
We are looking for a Senior Scientific Officer who will help develop and strengthen our growing philanthropic activities, and who would like to join us on our mission to pave the way for curing skin diseases.
At the LEO Foundation, we have high ambitions for our philanthropic grant activities and expect to double our funding to more than DKK 500 million a year by 2030. In support of this development, we now want to expand and complement the grant team with a Senior Scientific Officer.
The LEO Foundation is one of the largest private funders globally of independent skin research and provides philanthropic grants to support skin research of the highest quality that transforms our understanding of the skin, skin diseases and skin health. We also support activities that catalyze a strong and thriving ecosystem in and around skin and skin disease research, and we provide grants for education and awareness activities that strengthen the talent base for the next generation of researchers.
In our office in Nordhavn in Copenhagen, we are a relatively small organization with 15 employees. We are driven by a shared ambition to make a difference for people living with skin diseases and are motivated by knowing that everything we do – our philanthropic activities, ownership of LEO Pharma, and our investment activities – is aimed at paving the way for curing skin diseases.
