EARMA Annual Conference 2018

A message from Sharon Bailey, EARMA Chair:

Welcome to the 24th Annual EARMA Conference 16-18 April 2018.

It is my pleasure as Chair to invite you to Brussels for the 2018 EARMA Annual Conference. The Annual Conference Programme Committee is working hard to ensure that this year’s programme is both stimulating and insightful.

EARMA understands that winning research funding has never been more competitive than now and excellent impactful research requires excellent research support from motivated and up to date professionals. The first draft conference programme will be available in December 2017, please explore the topics and speakers to familiarize yourself with all the options available and start thinking about which sessions align best with your and your organisation’s objectives and aspirations.

There are many reasons why you should attend the EARMA conference:

1. Attending the conference will provide you with new practical skills and learn proven methods to put you on the fast track to success.
   
2. Learning from real success stories means you will save time and money trying to figure out what works.

Each year the EARMA’s conference moves around Europe. Brussels in April 2018 will be EARMA’s 24th international conference. Collegiality is one of the key features of our conferences. So, whether you’ve been a loyal supporter of all other 23 EARMA conferences or this is your first one, joining us in Brussels will be one of the best decisions you make this year.

Belgium is one of the six founding countries of the European Union and hosts the official seats of the European Commission, Council of the European Union, and European Council, as well as a seat of the European Parliament in the country’s capital, Brussels. As the centre of European culture and institutions, Brussels has a lot to offer with almost 90 museums, beautiful parks, architecture, world famous cuisine and an amazing conference!
