Impact Assessment Analyst

The Novo Nordisk Foundation is seeking a competent impact assessment analyst who is interested in statistics, evaluation, bibliometrics and research analyzing.

As an impact assessment analyst in the Novo Nordisk Foundation, you will be a member of our impact assessment team with experience from making, collecting and analysing data, and work with analyzing, describing and documenting research impact.

The Job
As an analyst in the Novo Nordisk Foundation you will:
  • Contribute to analyzing and communicating data on the impact of the Novo Nordisk Foundation’s grant-giving activities to research, education, innovation as well as humanitarian and social purposes.
  • Contribute to securing high quality of the Foundation’s analyses and impact assessment.
  • Contribute to the analyses in the Novo Nordisk Foundation’s annual impact assessment reports and to the communication of the analyses to society and the Foundation’s stakeholder.
You must have knowledge of research and education statistics, bibliometric databases, use of indicators as well as execution of quantitative and qualitative analyses and studies.

Professional Qualifications

We are looking for a result orientated and structured person with experience from:
  • Impact assessment and evaluation of research and research environments.
  • Bibliometrics and statistics.
  • Handling and quality assessment of large amounts of data
  • Communication of statistics and research analyses in English both oral and in writing.
Preferably, you have a Ph.D. degree in bibliometric, research analysis, statistics or the like.

  • Is highly self-motivated, has a collaborative mindset, and the right combination of attention to detail as well as seeing the big picture.
  • Has strong communication skills and is able to present complex problems and their solutions.
